Rodd Roofing was recently presented with the Acuity Insurance Safety Award. This award is given to businesses that are exemplary in their partnership with Acuity to help ensure a safe workplace.

Our History


Founded in the early 1900s by brothers Major and William Rodd, Rodd Roofing specializes in residential and commercial roofing for new construction and reroofing projects. With over 100 years experience of integrity, offering the finest products and superior customer service, Rodd Roofing prides itself on quality roofing installations using premium roof products.


After four generations, Rodd Roofing continues to meet the standards set by its founders paying close attention to quality workmanship. With offices in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Rodd Roofing's services range from surveying your current roof to planning and budgeting for future projects. We are a Vermont roofing contractor specializing in installations of single-ply roofing systems, as well as other systems.

Rodd Roofing has earned membership to Carlisle's Hall of Fame by completing at least 250 "Perfect 10" roofing installations. Inspected by Carlisle's Field Service Technicians, "Perfect 10" installations are virtually flawless, closely following Carlisle specifications and details. Of 1900 Carlisle Authorized Applicators, only 180 have achieved this elite status.


As a Carlisle Authorized Applicator for nearly 30 years, the experts at Rodd Roofing have demonstrated a thorough knowledge of and experience with a full line of Carlisle roofing systems and products. To become a Carlisle Authorized Applicator, a company must undergo training conducted by Carlisle. The training covers roofing system installations and maintenance. After completing the initial training program, Authorized Applicators also take part in a continuing educational program to ensure they understand the latest technology and procedures from Carlisle.
