Rodd Roofing Through the Decades

Rodd Roofing, a Vermont Roofing company, pulls up to a job site in a branded truck.

The Story Behind Rodd Roofing’s Lasting Legacy

When you’ve been in business for over 100 years, you learn a thing or two about getting the job done right. For Rodd Roofing, it all started back in the early 1900s, when brothers Major and William Rodd set out with a simple goal: to offer high-quality roofing work backed by honesty and craftsmanship. That legacy has not only stood the test of time, it’s grown stronger with every generation.

Now in its fourth generation, Rodd Roofing is still family-run and firmly rooted in Vermont, serving homeowners and businesses across the region. While a lot has changed since the company’s early days, one thing hasn’t: our commitment to delivering roofing solutions that stand up to the elements and the expectations of our clients.

Built on Integrity, Backed by Experience

With over a century of experience under our belts, we’ve handled just about every roofing scenario you can imagine. From new construction to re-roofing, commercial complexes to family homes, we bring a level of expertise and attention to detail that only time and dedication can produce. Our 40-person team is made up of seasoned professionals who treat every roof like it’s their own.

Rodd Roofing specializes in single-ply roofing systems: high-performance, energy-efficient systems known for their durability and low maintenance. We’re also fully equipped to work with a variety of other roofing materials to fit the needs of each project. Whatever the system, our goal is always the same: a clean, precise installation that lasts for decades.

Setting the Standard, One Roof at a Time

We’re proud to be a Carlisle Authorized Applicator since 1979. That means we’ve undergone extensive training and continuing education on Carlisle’s full line of roofing systems. But what really sets us apart is our record of excellence, recognized by Carlisle themselves.

We’ve earned our place in Carlisle’s Hall of Fame by completing more than 250 “Perfect 10” installations, virtually flawless roofing projects that meet or exceed every detail of Carlisle’s exacting specifications. Out of 1,900 authorized applicators across the country, only 180 have achieved this level of distinction. That’s a badge of honor we wear with pride.

A Local Company That Cares

At the end of the day, we’re more than just a roofing company, we’re your neighbors. With our headquarters in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, we take a personalized, community-focused approach to everything we do. From surveying your current roof to planning and budgeting for future projects, we’re here to help every step of the way.

We love what we do, and we believe that shows in our work. Thousands of roofs later, we’re still driven by the same values that Major and William Rodd built this company on: quality, integrity, and a job well done.

If you’re looking for a roofing contractor that combines modern expertise with a legacy of trust, look no further than Rodd Roofing. Let’s build something strong together.
