Repair. Restore. Replace.

Repair. Restore. Replace. The Order Matters.

Repair, restore, and replace in that order.

This is something we've undoubtedly preached before, but it's still true today. Not every commercial roof requires replacement. In fact, studies* suggest that because of inadequate information, up to 85% of roofs are rebuilt unnecessarily.

The conventional wisdom is to tilt toward a complete roof tear off and replacement for a persistently leaky roof that appears to be locked in the leak-repair-leak-repair cycle. But it's not always the best course of action. Instead of dumping truckloads of tear-off debris into a landfill, a professional roof repair may be a preferable option for not only restoring the roof's watertightness under warranty but also extending its life.

How can you determine whether your roof is repairable?

The commercial roofing sector has access to cutting-edge equipment that can determine a roof's remaining useful life down to precise years and months using a visual study, an infrared scan, and a core sample for testing and analysis.

The outcomes also paint a detailed picture of the present state of a roof. A roof is most likely a possibility for restoration if it doesn't have moist insulation. And compared to a typical replacement, that commercial roof restoration saves time, money, and interruption.

If it is decided that a roof needs to be replaced, make sure to look into your options because there are new systems on the market that offer seamlessness, improved waterproofing, and more weather resistance.
